Super Falcons arrive Kobe ahead of clash against former world champions

The Nigerian senior female national team has arrived Kobe, Japan ahead of their clash against the Asians

Nigeria will face the Japanese national team in a preparatory game for their World Cup finals participation.

The Super Falcons will be flying one of Africa’s flags in New Zealand and Australia 2023 and are racking up top quality friendly games.

Nigeria had gone on a double clash against the Americans last month and lost 4-0 and drew 2-2 in both games respectively.

The players and officials of the team arrived in Kobe earlier on Monday and are expected to hit the ground running.

Youngsters like Esther Onyenezide, Deborah Abiodun and others have also arrived in Japan.

“Our delegation from Nigeria, today arrived in the Japanese town of Kobe, where they take on 2011 world champions Japan at the Noevir Stadium on 6th October. They’ve also been joined by Portugal based duo of Peace Efih and  Christiana Ucheibe,”
