See Premier League stat where Super Eagles stars’ club leads Arsenal, others

Leicester have done a lot of things wrongly this season, but a clean passing route isn’t one of them

The Foxes defense is in shambles but its passing lanes and attack has kept a glimmer of hope present at the King’s Power Stadium.

In a key statistical analysis of Premier League clubs done by CIES Football Observatory, Leicester rank fourth behind Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea amongst teams with the highest number of passes.

While Man City lead with 754 attempted passes per game, Liverpool come a distant second with 675, Chelsea  attempt 588 passes per game while Leicester who are above table toppers Arsenal in that regard attempt 554 passes every game.

The Gunners are fifth with 543 passes attempted per game. Leicester are currently bottom of the Premier League log with just a point after seven games.

The Foxes have scored 10 times this season already but have also shipped in 22 goals already and have the worst defense in the league.

Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho are expected to play a part on Monday when Leicester host Nottingham Forest in week 8 of the Premier League.

Although, Leicester have completed the passes, they have hardly resulted into goals and they’re suffering to keep the goal tight.
