Lookman continues hot streak – scores third consecutive Atalanta goal

Lookman scored a beauty against Sassuolo on Saturday to score his third consecutive goal in the Serie A

Ademola Lookman was on song again for Atalanta as he scored Atalanta’s early winning goal against stubborn Sassuolo in Bergamo.

The visitors drew the first blood in the 41st minute through a beautiful Giorgios Kyriakopoulos volley before two quick fire goals from Mario Pasalic and Lookman turned the tides in favour of Atalanta.

The Nigeria international made a good run into the Sassuolo box before getting a good pass from Brandon Soppy to move closer to a comeback goal on the night. He skillfully skipped past a Sassuolo defender before delivering a beautiful left-footed shot to give Atalanta the lead.

Lookman has now scored four times and assisted once in 10 games for Atalanta – a return of at least one goal contribution in every two games.

The former RB Leipzig forward’s good form hasn’t gone without notice this season with several praises coming in from his manager and the Italian media.
