The Portuguese manager is confident a positive result awaits the West Africans when they lock horns with the North Africans on Tuesday
Super Eagles manager has highlighted why he believes Nigeria will triumph over Algeria in their international friendly in Oran later today.
Algeria have won the two last meetings with Nigeria and are yet again slight favourites to bank on home support to beat the Super Eagles.
But Nigerian coach Jose Peseiro is convinced his charges have trained well since arriving in Constantine seven days ago.
Peseiro is impressed with how the Nigerian players have adapted to the new strategies that the coaching crew introduced to the team.
And despite admitting that the Desert Foxes are a side not to be underrated, Peseiro insists the Super Eagles have enough quality to overcome the Foxes.
“We trained well; we have been trying to introduce some new dynamics, some new methods that will be good for our team,” Peseiro told NFF TV.
“The players have adapted well. The players have adapted well both on and off the pitch.
“We are going to play against a good team, it won’t be easy but we have quality. We will fight hard to beat them.”
A depleted Super Eagles will not have Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, captain Ahmed Musa, vice-captain William Troost-Ekong, and Leicester City ace Wilfred Ndidi available for the game.
But Peseiro can still call on Leicester’s Kelechi Iheanacho, free-scoring Lorient star Terem Moffi, and Ajax ace Calvin Bassey for the clash with Algeria.
