The Napoli forward wasn’t involved in Napoli’s last three games and will also miss out on action in Nigeria’s friendly against Algeria
Victor Osimhen has resumed Napoli training ahead of a possible return to playing in the coming week.
The Super Eagles forward has stayed behind in Naples as he recuperates from a hamstring injury which has kept him out of action for some time.
Napoli revealed via their official website on Monday that Osimhen has resumed personalised training and therapies.
The former Lille forward had been crocked against Lazio but soon returned to help Napoli thrash Liverpool in the Champions League.
He however lasted only 40 minutes in the game and had aggravated his injury which was announced to keep him out for four weeks.
Osimhen is expected to return to action on Napoli’s October 1st fixture against Ola Aina’s Torino.
The forward is undergoing recuperation alongside Mateo Politano and both players are expected to help add more firepower to the Partoneapeans’ decent season so far.
