The recently released CIEF data shows the Nigerian is ranked higher than Tammy Abraham and Dusan Vlahovic
Victor Osimhen was placed in the Target man Shooter category alongside other forwards who are yet to turn 25.
Chelsea’s Kai Havertz ranks highest on the list, and is followed by Atletico Mineiro forward Matias Zaracho in second place. Osimhen with 93.3 edges Barcelona’s Ferran Torres to fourth by 0.3 points.
Liverpool’s €80m signing, Darwin Nunez, Abraham, Man City’s Julian Alvarez, Atletico Madrid’s Matthaüs Cunha and Evanilson De Lima are all on the list.
Osimhen was a subject of interests during the summer but none came through as clubs fell short of his exorbitant €100-110m valuation.
The Nigerian has impressed so far this season as he has helped Napoli to mount an early title challenge.
He was also vital to Napoli’s 4-0 win against Liverpool last week in the UEFA Champions League despite featuring for just 42 minutes in the game.
Napoli have confirmed that Osimhen will be out for a number of weeks after he sustained a hamstring injury but is not expected to be out for a long.
