Okocha rates higher than Yaya Toure on FIFA’s FUT23 Heroes

Jayjay Okocha is revered as one of Nigeria and Africa’s best midfielders ever and has been rated accordingly by FIFA in their soon-to-be-released game

The former Nigeria captain is on FIFA Ultimate Team 23 Heroes. Featuring alongside four-time African Footballer of the Year, Yaya Toure, former Liverpool and Australia international, Harry Kewell, former Dutch footballer Dirk Kuyt, former Bayern Munich defender, Lucio, 1991 Ballon D’Or winner, Jean Allain Pierre Papin, former German forward, Rudi Voller, Uruguayan legend, Diego Forlan, Mexican football legend, Rafael Marquez, Javier Mascherano, former Chelsea defender, Ricardo Carvalho and former Swede international Brolin.

Others are Claudio Marchisio, former Japan and Bolton star, Hidetoshi Nakata, Landon Donovan, former Villarreal and Spain defender, Capdevilla, Sydney Govou – a former Lyon and France forward, South Korean legend Park Ji Sung, Poland’s Smolarek, Saudi Arabia’s Al Owairan, and Peter Crouch.

How was Okocha rated on FUT23?

Ratified as a Central Attacking Midfielder, Okocha has an overall rating of 88, which when broken down is; 87 Pace, 83 Shot, 83 Passing, 93 Dribbling, 60 Physicality and 40 Defending.

Yaya Toure, described as a Central Defensive Midfielder in the game has an overall rating of 87, and when broken down is; 78 Pace, 83 Shot, 86 Passing, 84 Dribbling, 80 Defending and 89 Physicality.

Okocha rated as highly as Forlan, Mascherano, Marquez and Carvalho.
