The youngster has been in scintillating form for his side this season, and his displays have shot his team to the summit

Super Eagles star Alhassan Yusuf has been voted as the Player of the Month at Belgian Jupiler League leaders Royal Antwerp.

The Great Old have the begun the season in sizzling hot form, winning all eight of their Jupiler League games convincingly. The defensive midfielder has played an integral part all of those victories.

The 22-year-old  has one assist, but that is just a tip of what he has offered for Royal Antwerp this season. Yusuf has registered 65 touches per game, three interceptions per game, and a 70 percent pass accuracy.

Yusuf’s brilliance has not gone unnoticed, as Royal Antwerp have announced him as their Player of the Month for August.

The former Goteborg man would hope his displays earn him a place in Jose Peseiro’s squad for the upcoming international friendly against Algeria on the 27th of September.
