More details revealed on Amunike’s Zambian job

Emmanuel Amunike will in a matter of hours be appointed a new member of Zanaco’s coaching staff and latest details regarding his appointment have been revealed

MTN Zambian Super League side, Zanaco will have the former Super Eagles player and coach as its new Technical Consultant.

Local reports in Zambia say the Sunset will not have Amunike in a coaching role but as a technical advisor to the head coach of the team.

Zanaco coach, Kelvin Kaindu is expected to continue in his head coach role with Amunike as his advisor in according to ZamFoot.

Amunike, a former Barcelona and Zamalek star has worked previously in the Egyptian Premier League and with the Tanzanian national team.

He also handled the Nigerian U-17 and U-20 in the past and was recently the assistant coach of the Super Eagles.

Amunike led Tanzania to their first AFCON tournament in 39 years in 2019 but failed to make it past the group stage.

He is one of Nigeria’s most travelled coaches and is a legend from the famous USA’ 94 World Cup.
