Moffi finally morphs into a French Ligue 1 star with 5th goal in 6 games

Super Eagles star was on target in Lorient’s 3-1 win against Lyon on Wednesday

Terem Moffi has scored almost 50% of his team’s eleven goals this season and is developing into a Ligue 1 star.

The former Kortrijk forward managed to get eight goals last season and has already scored 62.5% of that this season. It’s a brilliant campaign for the young forward.

Lorient have now won two straight games after defeating Ajaccio during the weekend.

Moffi’s goal came in the 33rd minute of the game to give Lorient a cushion after Alexandre Lacazette grabbed an equaliser for Lyon.

Enzo Le Fee had scored the first goal for Lorient  while Dango Ouattara grabbed the third in the game.

The Super Eagles star is growing into a real force in the league and is one of the strongest attackers at the moment.

He’s now two goals short of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe who are tied at 7 goals.

Moffi has an average of a goal every 97 minutes and is one of the best in the league. With the season promising more for the forward, barring any unforeseen injuries, he is expected to attract bigger teams in the league as he grows and improves on his current returns.
