Josh Maja continued his excellent early-season form as he slammed home a hat-trick to power Girondins Bordeaux to a brilliant 3-1 win at Paris FC in their game week seven clash.
Maja opened the scoring in the 14th minute and then scored a brace of penalties on either side of halftime to hand Bordeaux a healthy three-goal advantage In the encounter played at the Stade Charléty in Paris. French attacker Morgan Guilavogui netted a late consolation for the hosts.
But it was not enough to deny Bordeaux the win that took them to the top of the French Ligue 2.
Super Eagles striker Josh Maja now has four goals in seven games, equal in third place on the goalscorer chart with compatriot and Amiens forward Tolu Arokodare.
