Crystal Palace completed a deadline day move for young Nigerian left-footer and have now loaned him to a Slovakian club
The Eagles signed Kelvin Agho from Nigerian club side, Hypebuzz and have loaned him out immediately to a Slovakian team.
Agho, who grew up in Abuja, the Nigerian capital, was announced as a new Palace player on the club’s official website.
“He’s expected to gain valuable experience in Slovakia where STK 1914 Šamorín have spoken glowingly about his potential.
“He was noticed at Crystal Palace and when such a club comes to the fore, the players usually take advantage of such an opportunity,” Šamorín’s Sporting Director, Horváth Csaba said.
“Kelvin is at the start of his journey which could lead to the Premier League, so he needs to play. We have been in contact with his agent since the spring, with whom we agreed that Kelvin could come to Šamorín on loan.
“He is a player with potential, which is not often found in our country, so I think that he will enrich our team with something again.”
Agho joins the growing list of Nigerian players at the club with Malcolm Ebiowei, Michael Olise and Ebere Eze all at the club.
