Super Eagles star has been training with former U-20, U-23 and and Super Eagles goalkeeper, Greg Etafia
Daniel Akpeyi, Super Eagles goalkeeper based in South Africa may have found a new club if his latest post on Twitter is anything to go by.
Akpeyi has been keeping himself sharp as he trains alongside former Nigeria international Etafia.
Etafia was between the sticks for the Flying Eagles at the Nigeria 99’ U-20 World Cup and was also in the Sydney 2000 Olympics Dream Team 2 squad.
For weeks, Etafia, who played for Moroka Swallows during his time in the Premier Soccer League, has been helping Akpeyi stay sharp.
Akpeyi was released by Kaizer Chiefs at the end of last season, and has been linked with different South African clubs ever since.
He’s linked with a move to Cape Town FC and has also been mentioned as potential choice for Orlando Pirates who have Ghanaian international, Richard Ofori.
Akpeyi was between the sticks for the Super Eagles at the 2019 AFCON and has played at every level for Nigeria.
