Osimhen’s agent reveals decision amid Man Utd links

With reports of a possible switch to Manchester United gaining traction in the last few hours, the Nigeria international’s agent has revealed the latest

Cristiano Ronaldo was being rumoured to be interested in a move to Napoli as he continues his search for Champions League football while Victor Osimhen will move the other way.

The Nigerian star’s agent has however denied such claims and Osimhen has his eyes set on playing in the Champions League with Napoli.

In a post on Twitter on Friday, Calenda cooled such talks and said there’s no deal or such possibilities in place.

“No negotiations in progress, no swaps. Victor Osimhen is a Napoli player and wants to play the Champions League with Napoli after winning it on the pitch with pride together with the coach and his teammates,”

Ronaldo has his eyes set on an exit after getting benched in the last two games.

Osimhen has been linked with various clubs all summer with Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern Munich all linked with a move at different points of the window.

The Nigerian has started the 2022/23 season on fire grabbing two goals in two games and also assisting.

He has also assumed a bigger responsibility at Napoli this season.
