Emmanuel Dennis joined Nottingham Forest on Saturday in a club record move
The Super Eagles forward signing was announced last weekend after completing a £20m move from Watford.
Dennis is expected to strengthen the Reds’ attack and will play alongside compatriot Taiwo Awoniyi in the newly-promoted side.
After making three new signings during the weekend, Forest have allocated jersey numbers to the new players with Dennis getting the same number he wore at Watford.
When he joined Watford just over a year ago, he was assigned the #25 jersey and wore it for the whole of last season and the beginning of this season. Nottingham Forest have allocated the same jersey number to Dennis as they prepare to travel away to winless Everton, according to the club’s website.
While Nottingham Forest have lost one and won one of their opening games to the season, Everton have lost both of their games so far and will be looking to nick something against The Reds.
Recall that Awoniyi scored on his full and home debut for Nottingham Forest and Dennis is also expected to play to make an instant impression against the Toffees.
The former Club Brugge attacker scored on his Premier League debut for Watford and was an instant impact with the Hornets but his returns didn’t prevent the club from relegation.
