Super Eagles forward features as Chelsea defeat Udinese in preseason game

Chelsea thrashed Udinese 3-1 in a preseason friendly game with the Nigerian international featuring

Isaac Success featured against Chelsea as Udinese were thrashed by the Blues at the Dacia Arena.

Other than Success, Nigeria-eligible duo of Destiny Udogie and Festy Ebosele also featured in the game against the former European champions.

Chelsea were coming from a 4-0 thrashing in the hands of Arsenal last week to impressing against Udinese.

Ngolo Kante, new signing Raheem Sterling and Mason Mount were the three goal scorers in the game.

Chelsea took the lead in the 13th minute through Kanye’s well-placed shot. Sterling doubled the advantage in the 36th minute as his shot was parried by Silvestri and he made no mistake tapping the rebound in.

Former Barcelona and Watford winger, Gerard Deulofeu halved the deficit for Udinese with Success also threatening in some moments. The highly-valued Udogie also made a crucial block from Sterling before Mount scored from a Callum Hudson-Odoi cross to make it three.

Ebosele was a late substitute for Udogie in the game.
