After a strong season in the Serie A last term, the wing-back has become a favourite across major European clubs
Destiny Udogie was a sensation last season as he shone in Udinese’s Serie A campaign.
The left wing-back has been linked with Inter Milan, Juventus and now Lazio in the past few weeks.
Lazio President, Massimo Piscedda is believed to be a huge fan of the player and Maurizio’s Sarri also looks forward to working with the young Italian-born player.
Stefano Antonelli, a member of Udogie’s management team has revealed they’re working on what’s best for player amid the heavy links.
“Sarai on Udogie? Yes, there is. The story of Udogie is of a top market, in the sense that it is on the lips of the top 5 clubs in Europe. To date I cannot say anything, we still have a long market,” he told Radio Marte.
Lazio are preparing bids for various players to fix their current left back problems and Udogie looks to be a fitting profile.
