WATCH: Super Eagles prepare for Sierra Leone clash

Jose Peseiro was reportedly dissatisfied by the mainbowl of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja and asked to train on one of the training pitches

The Portuguese observed proceedings as players were put through their paces in Abuja.

Earlier, Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey teamed up with the rest of the squad in the Nigerian capital as the Super Eagles prepared for the game against Sierra Leone.

Every invited player is currently in Abuja where the Portuguese coach is perfecting strategies as he gets exposed to the players.

Recall that Peseiro invited 27 players for the games against Sierra Leone and São Tomé with regular suspects Ahmed Musa, Victor Osimhen, Leon Balogun, William Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina, Zaidu Sanusi and many others all making the squad.

The Super Eagles hope to bounce back from their failure to pick a 2022 World Cup ticket against Ghana in Abuja as they plan to qualify for the AFCON and win it as revealed by Peseiro.

The former Porto coach lost his two first games in charge of the Super Eagles, although not competitive and with a largely under-strength team.
