Former Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel joined other players in Lagos to enjoy some feel of street football
Mikel was all smiled as he ran around with the rest of the players with some of the spectators asking the ball to be passed to him.
The former Chelsea midfielder is currently in Nigeria on a talent hunt programme with a foreign talent management agency. They will scout talents across sports and the programme has been slated for UNILAG.
Mikel, a silver medallist in the U-20, Olympics bronze medallist, AFCON winner, Premier League winner, Champions League winner, Europa League winner and several others is a Nigerian football legend and one of the most-capped players of the Super Eagles.
He played at every level of Nigerian football from U-17 to the senior national team and remains Nigeria’s most decorated footballer.
Mikel’s presence was an enjoyable one for the players and spectators as they had the rare opportunity of playing with one of Nigeria’s finest.
