The Golden Eaglets are unbeaten in the competition, and they are looking to take that form to the final
The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria are confident of victory ahead of their fixture against Burkina Faso in the finals of the WAFU B Under-17 Championship.
The Nigeria Under-17 sealed a spot in the upcoming U-17 AFCON and a spot in the final of the WAFU B championship after an outstanding 3-1 victory over Ivory Coast in the semifinals.
The Golden Eaglets are yet to lose in all three of their games in the tournament, winning all their games convincingly. And they plan to take that form into the final against Burkina Faso.
Golden Eaglets striker Light Eke expects a tough game, but he believes in his side’s strength and is confident that it would come to the fore when they slug it out against Burkina Faso on Friday.
“It is obviously going to be a tough match, but we have been training, but we are prepared”, Eke told Elegbete TV.
“The strikers have been training on many things that we are going to use during the match, like combats, combination passes, shooting drills, and other things.
“But the most important thing is for us to play as a team. We have been waiting for this right time, and we know we are going to win this and be champions.
