Swedish club target Nigerian Union Berlin Forward

Swedish club are interested in procuring the services of Nigerian forward Suleiman Abdullahi

FK Goteborg have set their sights on the forward whose contract will expire at the end of June.

Union Berlin already the player’s contract expiration and revealed it won’t be renewed.

The forward joined the club from Eintracht Braunschweig where he was for two years.

Abdullahi had scored an important goal in the club’s story in 2020 as his effort earned them their promotion push against VFB Stuttgart.

Abdullahi and his compatriot, Anthony Ujah have already had their farewell from the club and are looking forward to new challenges.

According to Swedish website, Expressen, the forward is on Goteborg’s wishlist and being a free player at the end of the month, he has a chance to sign for any club of his choice.

The attacker hasn’t had a goals-laden career so far but has usually been a trustable professional since moving to German football from Viking.

He had joined Union on an initial loan from Braunschweig but did enough to get a permanent transfer at the club at the time, helping to write a new story in the club’s modest history.
