Fixtures for the 2022/23 Premier League season were released on Thursday with the opening weekend tentatively setting up a battle of Super Eagles stars
The opening weekend of the Premier League will see Leicester host Brentford at the King Power Stadium with Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho expected to be involved for the Foxes barring any late-minute transfers.
Brentford will also have their Nigerian export Frank Onyeka in action as he faces his second Premier League season after a topsy-turvy debut campaign.
In other involvements, Alex Iwobi will slug it out against Chelsea at Goodison Park as he hopes to begin the season in the same vein or even a better one than he started with.
Other fixtures involving Super Eagles players and Super Eagles-eligible players have Ebere Eze and Michael Olise’s Crystal Palace against Arsenal.
Tosin Adarabioyo’s Fulham will face Liverpool while Dominic Solanke’s Bournemouth will face Carney and Caleb Chukwuemeka’s Aston Villa.
The first day of the new Premier League season will come up on the 5th of August with Arsenal travelling to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace.
