The former U-17 international was on hand to present a jersey to the Nigerian President in Portugal, following in the footsteps of Kenneth Omeruo
Casa Pia winger, Saviour Godwin has presented a branded jersey to the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari on his visit to Portugal.
Godwin, whose team just gained promotion to the Portuguese Liga presented the jersey to Buhari with the Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare and Chairman of Nigeria in the Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Davido-Erewa also in attendance.
The winger was a regular performer last season as he took the Portuguese second division by storm and helped his club gain promotion to the first division.
Porto defender, Zaidu Sanusi is another Nigerian in the division but was absent at the presentation.
Super Eagles defender, Chima Akas was also present at the presentation of the jersey which had “M.Buhari 1” on it.
Recall Super Eagles defender Omeruo also presented a jersey to Buhari when he visited Spain.
Buhari met with Nigerians in Portugal on his visit.
