Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has stuck with the group of players who played against Mexico except Innocent Bonke who’s out due to injury.
Peseiro is looking to play a 3-5-2 system, which he historically prefers or a 4-2-2-2 system he adopted in the second half against Mexico.
Katsina United’s Faisal Sani is in the team to face Ecuador as he makes his second Super Eagles cap.
Sani impressed on Sunday when he came on against the North American giants.
Francis Uzoho retained his place in goal, with Chidozie Awaziem, William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey and Semi Ajayi all starting. Joe Aribo and Alex Iwobi and Sani are in the middle Moses Simon, Terem Moffi and Cyriel Dessers complete the team.
Dessers will be making his second Nigerian start after scoring in his full debut against Mexico.
The bench has been joined by the fit-again Ola Aina and Emmanuel Dennis who joined the team in the US this week.
