London club pip Man Utd to sensational Nigeria-eligible youngster’s signature

Crystal Palace are now a palatial residence for Nigeria-eligible youngsters as yet another Super Eagles hopeful nears a move to Selhurst Park

Malcolm Ebiowei is on his way out of Derby County having completed his Crystal Palace medicals during the week.

The former Rangers and Arsenal academy player is set to put pen to paper on a five-year contract at Crystal Palace with his medicals already done.

The fascinating winger was a transfer interest for Manchester United but chose to move to London instead where there’s a good presence of African players.

Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze are two of the other Nigeria-eligible players currently plying their trade at the club.

Italian transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano reported on Wednesday that Ebiowei’s move to the Patrick Vieira-led Palace is near completion and added that the deal will be valid until June 2027.

Super Eagles midfielder, Joe Aribo is also a reported transfer interest for Crystal Palace but the player has said nothing concrete has been agreed with any club so far.
