“I believe I can get to the level of Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe, or Haaland”- Super Eagles prospect reveals career targets

The Nigerian star’s career has been on a steady rise in the last two years, but he wants to achieve more

Super Eagles prospect Yira Sor has revealed that he believes that he can be a force to reckon with in the nearest future just like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe, and Erling Haaland.

Yira Sor’s career has been on a steady rise in the last two years. The 21-year-old left 36 Lions last year for Czech Republic side Banik Ostrava. However, within a year, his eye-catching displays attracted Czech giants Slavia Prague.

And the seven-time Czech Republic champions went on to snap him up for €1.2million in January this year.

Sor took to Slavia Prague like fish to water, as he scored seven goals in 17 appearances.

The 21-year-old is majorly a right-winger, but he could also slot in as a center-forward.

Sor has spent just over 18 months in Europe, and he wants to go the entire nine yards to etch his name in football’s history books.

“I am someone that dreams big, and I am always confident that I can get to the very best,” Sor told Eagles tracker.

“I believe, and I think I can get to the level of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland.

“I am so confident and I believe in myself. Whenever I get an opportunity, I try to grab it.

“I wish to play in the Champions League, I wish someday to represent my country, and maybe win trophies. And then, maybe compete for the best player in Africa, and the Balon d’Or.”

The Slavia Prague star featured for Nigeria at youth level, but if he continues to grow at this pace, it would be only a matter of time before he gets called up to the Super Eagles.
