Yet-to-be capped Nigerian midfielder rated third most expensive footballer in Denmark

The FC Midjtylland midfielder is rated the third most expensive player in the Danish Superligaen according to CIES Football Observatory

Raphael Onyedika Nwadike, a yet-to-be capped Nigerian midfielder has been rated as the third most valuable player in the Danish league.

In a compilation of the most expensive footballers outside of the top 5 European Leagues, the defensive midfielder who can also play as a centre back was rated highly in the Danish league.

Onyedika has had an impressive season so far scoring twice and assisting once in 22 league games. He has been a regular feature for the Danish side this season as they chase the league title.

He is valued at €11.1m, behind his club teammates 24-year old Anders Dreyer who is valued at €15.2m and Evander Da Silva valued at €11.5m.

The most-valued player outside the top five European leagues is Benfica’s Uruguayan forward Darwin Nunez who is valued at €80m.

The players ranked highest are outside Europe’s top five leagues are; Antony dos Santos (NED, €57M), Charles De Ketelaere (BEL, €40M), Gabriel Barbosa (BRA, €39M), Karim Adeyemi (AUT, €31M), Muhammed Aktürkoğlu (TUR, €20M), Alan Velasco (USA, €20M), Liel Abada (SCO, €19M), Anders Dreyer (DEN, €15M), as well as Dan Ndoye (SUI, €15M).
