The former Remo Stars winger has joined FC Porto B on loan from Portimonense
Marcus Abraham, a 22-year old former Remo Stars winger has moved from Portimonense to the Porto second team on loan.
Marcus joined the Portuguese second division side after playing just 3 league games for Portimonense in the just-concluded season.
He was subsequently loaned to Polish side Radomiak where he struggled to tie down a regular spot.
Marcus’ move comes with an option to buy as the winger look to put his career back in a better direction.
The former CD Feirense player will be joining a team that has had Nigerians in the past without much football success.
Former U-17 captain and Super Eagles midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali, former U-17 internationals Musa Yahaya and Chidera Ezeh have all had spells at the club without much success.
Marcus may have the chance to have regular minutes in the Portuguese second division as he hopes to brighten his playing chances.
