‘Elite striker goal’ – Nigerian musician scores at Old Trafford

Nigerian musician Folarin Falana (Falz) delivered  a tidy finish in one of the biggest grounds in world football.

Falz played as part of the Chivas Regal team against a UK All-Star team and scored a beauty in the 51st minute of the game.

The musician made a timely run into the opposition box, beat his marker and the offside trap before finishing in a manner that brought memories of Thierry Henry’s greatness at Arsenal.

Falz, who’s an Arsenal fan chose the Old Trafford to score the biggest football goal of his career yet and he was visibly elated.

”Nominate this guy for Ballon D’Or already Abeg!!! Guess who scored a goal at Old Trafford today,”

Several football and music stars commented on the rapper’s finish.

Super Eagles and Leicester midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi said “Nice finish” while Adekunle Gold commented “I’m calling HR,” “Why will they allow you to play at Old Trafford?” in a cheeky response to Falz’s video. Adekunle Gold is a Manchester United fan.

Rapper Ycee said “why you no celebrate like an Arsenal player?” in a thin-veiled dig at Falz’s Siuuu celebration like Cristiano Ronaldo’s.

Several other comments followed Falz’s fine goal, and these are some of them below;
