“The white chicken does not realise its age” – Osimhen aims dig at Ikpeba in cryptic post

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has aimed a dig at his critics with a cryptic social media post on Wednesday.

Osimhen in a tweet posted a photo of himself in front of a private jet and a meme by the side stating, “if you like judge me, me self Dey judge you, people Dey judge our two, this life na the judge of the jungle,”

The attacker’s response, although not openly directed to anyone may not be unconnected with a recent criticism by former Super Eagles attacker, Victor Ikpeba.

Ikpeba on Monday Night Football on Supersport had blamed the Napoli attacker for his lack of composure against Ghana.

The 1997 African Footballer of the Year had courted fans’ ire with the statement which many thought was unfair on Osimhen.

Ikpeba had also supported Austin Eguavoen on the show and said he didn’t support the dismissal of Gernot Rohr while he questioned the desire of the players to qualify for the World Cup.

  • You have not played 1/20 of what Ikpeba played both for both club and country. You have not even won African Footballer of the year.
    Listen and improve his game.
