Aribo finished the regular Scottish Premiership season on a high note as he scored in their game against St.Mirren
Super Eagles midfielder, Joe Aribo has been included in a team of the season compiled by football statistics company, Whoscored.
Aribo finished the regular Scottish league season with an average rating of 7.29.
Whoscored said of Aribo’s inclusion, “Back on the Rangers beat, Joe Aribo joins Turnbull in the middle of the park having earned a WhoScored rating of 7.29 this season. The Nigerian missed a handful of games due to his AFCON participation, but still ranks fourth for key passes (58) in Scotland’s top tier, while eight goals and five assists is a commendable return for the 25-year-old.”
Aribo is just one of three Nigerians in the Rangers team, with defenders Leon Balogun and Calvin Bassey being the others.
The Whoscored team of the season was made up of players from Celtic, Rangers and Hearts, with the league leaders having the highest number of players in the team.
Rangers had four players in the team, Hearts had two while Celtic had five players in the team of the season.
