Odion Ighalo isn’t done yet with his former club Al Shabab as he scored another brace on Sunday to help lift Al Hilal to the final of the King’s Cup.
Ighalo scored the game’s winner in the extra time after Al Hilal came from behind.
Argentine midfielder, Ever Banega gave Al Shabab the lead from the spot in the 63rd minute but relinquished their lead in the 72ns minute when Salman Al Farhaj scored the equaliser. Both teams failed to cancel each other out during regulation time and the game went into extra time.
After fifteen minutes of the extra time, Ighalo fed off a Moussa Marega hardwork to put Al Hilal ahead.
It was the former Watford’s attacker third goal against Al Shabab since departing the team in January.
As PSG rained on Lorient at the Parc Des Princes, the visitors’ Nigerian forward stood up to be counted.
Neymar opened scoring as early as the 12th minute before Kylian Mbappe doubled the lead sixteen minutes later.
Moffi appeared to help reduce the deficit and be on the course of helping his team get a foot back in the game after scoring in the 58th minute. His goal was short-lived with PSG scoring nine minutes later to make it 3-1.
Lionel Messi scored in the 73rd minute and Neymar grabbed his second in the 90th minute to condemn Lorient to a heavy defeat to the champions.
Innocent Bonke wasn’t listed for the game.
