Rangers Head Coach, Giovanni Van Bronckhorst started his three Super Eagles stars in the Old Firm Derby but lost at home to Celtic in a tensed game.
The trio of Leon Balogun, Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey were all involved in the lunchtime game but Aribo got most sticks for his dismal performance.
Rangers took the lead as early as the third minute through former Arsenal star, Aaron Ramsey but were soon pegged back in the game.
Aribo surprisingly played from start to finish in the game and lost possession 15 times in the game. He had 54 touches, completed 78% of his attempted 36 passes and failed to complete any of his two crosses.
He won 75% of his ground duels and just one of his 5 aerial duels in the game.
Some of the Rangers fans who commented on the game said he’s been a shadow of himself since representing Nigeria at the AFCON and has failed to rediscover his pre-AFCON form.
The midfielder also struggled with the Super Eagles at the World Cup qualifiers and had a poor showing against Ghana by his usually high standards.
