Super Falcons goalkeeper debuted in her first major tournament in 2019
Paris FC goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie has expressed her happiness with how well her career has so far panned out.
The 21-year old former Rivers Angels goalkeeper made her national team bow with the Super Falcons at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France aged just 19 at the time.
Nnadozie’s stellar performances in goal helped Nigeria qualify for the round of 16 before getiing eliminated by the hosts but she had done enough to attract suitors from France.
Paris FC came calling and she made the switch to Europe, where she’s grown in leaps and bounds in the past two years.
Her French club sealed their place in next season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League having been guaranteed of at least third spot in the league behind Lyon and PSG.
Paris FC are currently on 44 points after 19 league games in the 12-team league, ten points above the next team, Fleury 91 Femininés.
Nnadozie has been the top goalkeeper for the capital-based team and has also been impressive with the Super Falcons.
The young goalkeeper is seen as one of the most important players of the senior national team having racked up a good number of games at a young age.
Nnadozie will join Asisat Oshoala and Rasheedat Ajibade as Nigerians to play in the Champions League next season.
