The Super Eagles of Nigeria have departed Abuja for Ghana ahead of their crucial World Cup Qualifier game against the Black Stars.
The Nigerians left the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport this morning aboard an Air Peace airplane.
A video posted by the Nigeria Football Federation saw the players leave the country for the trip to Ghana.
Super Eagles coaching crew and the players were all on board the plane with every player invited currently ready for the encounter.
Nigeria will face Ghana on Friday in an encounter that has been the talk of the town. Both nations have a history of football rivalry dating back to 1950, with the Ghanaians winning more games in 49 meetings.
Nigeria played a 0-0 draw away at Ghana the last time both nations faced at the World Cup Qualifiers in 2001.
The Ghanaians will play hosts to Nigeria at the 40,000-seater Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Ghana have invited 27 players ahead of the doubleheader clashes and the buildup to the games has seen fans and journalists from both nations throw banter at each other, and express some confidence about the chances of their teams.
