Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen arrived the camp of the Super Eagles on Tuesday evening to take the number of players in camp to twenty-one.
Osimhen, who has scored four goals in his last two games for Napoli joined the rest of the squad at their camp in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.
The attacker last week became the first Nigerian in the history of the Serie A to hit double figures in two consecutive seasons.
Osimhen has earned rave reviews as a result of his recent form and is considered one of the most important players to the Super Eagles’ ambition of nicking a World Cup ticket at the expense of their agelong rivals.
Nigeria now have almost a full complement of players and are expected to hold their first session by 6:30 p.m today.
The Super Eagles will be without goalkeeper Maduka Okoye after the Sparta Rotterdam man contracted COVID-19.
Nigeria may also miss newly invited Leicester winger Ademola Lookman.
Akinkunmi Amoo, the youngest invitee in the squad is yet to arrive camp while Sadiq Umar is also expected later today.
Nigeria will play Ghana on Friday at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
