Nigeria vs Ghana is about everything – fashion, film, jollof – Musa

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has said that the clash against Ghana is about everything for both nations.

In a chat with NFF TV, Musa said the clash is about politics, Jollof, fashion, entertainment and many more.

”As you can see, it’s about the politics, it’s about the Jollof that you mentioned, it’s about music, acting, fashion, everything,” Musa said.

“And thank God football has brought us together to show again who is the king. As the record shows… I’m not going to say anything about the past. They have good records better than Nigeria but this is a new generation of the Super Eagles.”

Nigeria have a long history of football rivalry with Ghana with the first game between both sides played 72 years ago.

The Ghanaians have faced Nigeria 49 times and have won 21 times. The Super Eagles have won 10 times while 18 of the clashes have ended in a stalemate.

Musa and twenty other players are in camp at the moment, with light training sessions expected to kickstart today.

Nigeria are set to battle Ghana on Friday before hosting the Black Stars in Abuja four days later in a doubleheader clash that has gotten the attention of the continent.
