Super Eagles marksman Odion Ighalo bagged a first half hat trick as Al Hilal put four past Al Ahli in the Saudi Pro League.
The Nigerian attacker had a perfect dress-rehearsal for the Super Eagles’ World Cup qualifiers against Ghana, slated for Kumasi exactly a week from now.
Ighalo opened scoring in the 11th minute, before doubling Al Hilal’s advantage twenty-three minutes later. He completed his hat-trick moments before the break to take the game beyond Al Ahli.
Malian attacker, Moussa Marega scored Ahli’s fourth in the game to put the match to bed. The opposition soon woke from their slumber to pull two goals back to reduce the deficit, on the 69th minute and 96th minute of the game.
