Euro Wrap: Onuachu’s Genk stutter, Onyeka features for Brentford in Ivan Toney show

Paul Onuachu played all 90 minutes, as Genk forced Cercle Brugge to a 2-2 draw at the Jan Breydel stadium.

Matondo put the home side in front in the 36th minute before Senna Miangue doubled their lead in the 51st minute.

However, two minutes later, Bongonda pulled one back for the Smurfs. Then in the 55th minute, Bryan Heynen equalised for Genk.

Onuachu had a decent game with 45 touches and two shots on target.

In the Premier League, Frank Onyeka saw 30 minutes of action, as his Brentford side ended a ten-game winless streak with a 3-1 victory over Norwich at Carrow Road.

A hattrick from Ivan Toney did the damage for Brentford. But their clean sheet was dented after a stoppage-time goal from Teemu Pukki.

In Germany, Aremu Afeez had a great outing with St. Pauli as his side cruised to a 3-1 victory over Karlsruher in the Bundesliga 2.

A brace from Daniel-Kofi Kyereh and one goal from Simon Makienok in the first half ensured the victory for the Bundesliga hopefuls.

Afeez replaced Buchtmann in the 73rd minute to help his side see out the victory. However, he had a yellow card to his name.

Elsewhere, it was a bad outing for Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze, as his Villarreal side fell to a 1-0 loss at Osasuna.

After a goalless first half, the home side took the lead through Chimy Avila. Villarreal boss introduced Chukwueze in the 77th minute to salvage a result. However, the Nigeria international was helpless, as his side fell to their first defeat in seven games.
