The Super Eagles kicked off their 2021 Africa Cup of Nation with a 1-0 win over Egypt on Tuesday, but it was double joy for one lucky Nigerian courtesy of the Betking AFKON campaign
Betking has rewarded one of its customers with a ticket to watch the final of the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon following the launch of their AFKON promotional campaign.
The sports and digital entertainment company launched the ‘AFKON Promotion’ to reward their customers and agents during AFCON 2021, which is scheduled to run from 9 January to 6 February 2022.
To participate in the ‘BetKing AFKON Promotion,’ BetKing customers are required to place a bet of a minimum of N500 on an accumulator with at least five selections, at 1.20 odds per selection.
The bet must include one Africa Cup of Nations 2021 event among other terms and conditions which are listed on the BetKing website
And in a raffle draw event that was held at De Dems Park, Lagos, after Nigeria’s win against Egypt, Betking rewarded their customers with Samsung phones, t-shirts, face caps, while one lucky winner won a trip to Cameroon.
Benedict Okoduwa, Adekunle Fuad and one other lucky customer were the three winners of the Samsung A03s smartphones.
However, the biggest winner from the event is Shuaib Omokhabi, who won himself a trip to Cameroon to watch the AFCON 2021 final.
Shuaib could not contain his excitement after his name was announced following the conclusion of the raffle draws.
‘I’m happy that I won this today, Shuaib told Soccernet.
He also added that he hopes Nigeria makes it all the way to the final as that will also make him happy.
“Nothing will gladdens my heart than seeing Nigeria there.” Of course, I am a Nigerian, so going there to watch Nigeria will be quite fantastic.
Meanwhile, more winners are expected to emerge when the Super Eagles play their third group game against Guinea-Bissau on January 19.
The event will take place at Betking agent’s office, Apapa. For more information, visit Betking.com
