The three-time African champions begin their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a clash against the Pharaohs
Former Chelsea winger Victor Moses has thrown his support behind Nigeria’s Super Eagles as they begin their 2021 AFCON campaign with a clash against Egypt.
Moses is a retired Nigerian international who scored 12 goals in 38 appearances for the Super Eagles. The highest point of his international career came in 2013 when he played a key role in helping Nigeria win their third AFCON title in South Africa.
Seven years later, the Super Eagles will be seeking their fourth title on the continent, starting with a Group D opener against Egypt.
And ahead of the game, Moses has shown his support for his beloved country. The former Wigan star took to his Twitter to wish the team success in Cameroon.
Moses said: Good luck to the Super Eagles today! Make the nation proud, we are all behind you!!
The 31-year-old is not the only player to wish the Super Eagles luck in Cameroon. Victor Osimhen, who is missing the competition due to a facial injury, also sent his support to the team.
