Soccernet.ng brings you the highlights of a few eye-catching performances from some Nigerian footballers in the second-tier of Turkish football.
Nigerian youngster Ibrahim Rasheed netted his fourth goal of the season to help Menemenspor earn a share of the spoils with a 1-1 draw at Tuzlaspor in a Turkish 1 Lig matchday 16 clash.
The 22-year-old struck the opener in the 22nd minute, but a late penalty from Selçuk Alibaz denied the visitors the maximum points.
At the Aktepe Stadı in Ankara, Nigerian attackers Emeka Eze and Ibrahim Olawoyin were the outstanding performers as Ankara Keçiörengücü secured a come-from-behind 3-2 victory over Bandırmaspor.
Eze claimed an assist as Djibrilla gave Keçiörengücü a fourth-minute lead, but the visitors fired back with strikes from Keny and Kocer.
With the home side facing certain defeat, Eze and Olawoyin took matters into their own hands.
The 25-year-old Eze slammed home the equaliser in the 89th minute for the Taner Taşkın-tutored side before former Rangers boy Olawoyin bundled home the winner deep into stoppage time.
For attacking midfielder Eze, his effort was his seventh goal in 14 league appearances while 24-year-old Olawoyin now has three goals in 13 league games for Ankara Keçiörengücü.
