The Italy-based striker has joined his international teammates in Morocco ahead of this weekend’s qualifiers
Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has arrived at the Tangier camp of the Super Eagles as the team gets ready for their November 13 World Cup qualifying match against Liberia.
The arrival of Osimhen on Tuesday night brings to 22 the number of invited players for the last group games of the Qatar 2022 African qualifying series against Liberia and Cape Verde.
Saudi Arabia-based Odion Ighalo and Enyimba goalkeeper John Noble are the only players yet to make it to Tangier, Morocco.
Former Manchester United loanee Ighalo is expected to return to the national team more than two years after announcing his retirement at the conclusion of the 2019 African Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt.
Noble, though, was called up as a late replacement for goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, who pulled out of the games due to sickness.
The roll call of players already in camp include new Watford signing Maduka Okoye, Kaizer Chiefs shot-stopper Daniel Akpeyi, Rangers stars Leon Balogun and Joe Aribo, Cyprus-based Shehu Abdullahi, full-back Zaidu Sanusi, Nantes winger Moses Simon, Leganes centre-back Kenneth Omeruo, Villarreal’s Samuel Chukwueze and skipper Ahmed Musa.
Others are Germany-based Kevin Akpoguma and Jamilu Collins, Torino wing-back Ola Aina, CSKA Moscow’s dribbling wizard Chidera Ejuke and Genk goal-king Paul Onuachu.
A pair of Kelechi Iheanacho goals in the reverse fixture at the Teslim Balogun Stadium helped Nigeria triumph over Liberia’s Lone Star on matchday one.

If igalo is not coming he should let them know.
Wish the super eagle best of luck at Morocco
They should have invited Denis than Ighalo sometimes what NFF and co. does makes me wonder if they have no idea what football look like before fighting for such position they occupied. For so many years if I am not mistaking I think this era is when Nigeria is producing so many strikers, even Mr Rohr don't even know who to pick ahead of others except Osihmen because he has a lot of strikers at his disposal. They are looking for a way where there is no way, all in the name of experience. If you like bring in C Ronaldo to super eagles without very good creative midfielders C Ronaldo will be useless in super eagles.
Wishing them nothing but the best from them all
We should be bold and strong when we get they ball
Best luck boys
