The Super Eagles forward delivered a man-of-the-match performance as Watford scored four to sink the Red Devils to new lows at Vicarage Road
Nigerian international Emmanuel Dennis has expressed his delight at helping Watford claim a memorable 4-1 win at home to Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.
Dennis delivered yet another excellent display in only his first few weeks in the English Premier League, contributing three of the goals that blew Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men away.
In his 11th league game of the season, Dennis provided the assist to Joshua King’s opening goal early in the first half after Ismaila Sarr had missed a penalty for the hosts.
With United chasing a late equaliser, Dennis then assisted youngster Joao Pedro to make it 3-1 to the Hornets in the 92nd minute. The 24-year-old then capped a fantastic afternoon with the last goal of the game deep into stoppage time.
Watford manager Claudio Ranieri had tinkered with his tactics, playing Dennis in the center-forward role while King moved to the wings, yet the Nigerian flourished. And after wrecking United, Dennis was keen to point out that he can get the job done anywhere he’s played in attack.
“I can play anywhere in the front three, it’s okay to me, and I did the job,” Dennis told Watford’s official website.
“I’m very happy; we deserved to win. Winning was the only thing in our heads; we kept going and got a very important three points.
“We kept going; I missed the chance before the penalty, I could have scored, but we kept going and I got a goal!”
Dennis now boasts four goals and five assists in his first eleven games in the English top-flight.

And yet he is not good enough for Rohr and his technically deficient team
Great one for Dennis. He should keep working hard, be focused and stay humble.
I don't know what he's talking about. At best he was a support striker/winger. King was ahead of him most of the game. Definitely wasn't playing centrally.
He is saying he can play any where in the front line weather central, support or from wings.
