Transfers: Real Madrid monitoring Osimhen as an alternative to PSG star

Los Blancos join a growing list of European giants reportedly interested in the services of the in-form Nigerian international

Real Madrid could be interested in signing Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli. According to Sport, the Spanish giants could sign Osimhen if they fail to sign either Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland.

Osimhen has been attracting interest from Europe’s top sides following his impressive start to the season. The Super Eagles star has started the season like a house on fire, and he is one of the top scorers in all competitions in Europe’s top five leagues this campaign.

The former Lille man has scored nine times in ten appearances for the Neapolitans this season.

Bayern Munich are also reportedly interested in signing him as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski, whose contract expires in 2023.

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are also willing to offer Mauro Icardi plus cash for the Nigerian services.

However, the Nigerian international will cost his potential suitors a lot of money as he only signed for Napoli last year for a club and African record fee of 81.3m euros.
