The Super Eagles star continues to earn plaudits from legends of the game following his impressive start to the season
AC Milan Hall of Famer Massimo Ambrosini and Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti are convinced that Victor Osimhen is edging closer to being a complete goalscoring machine.
Spalletti lauded Osimhen for his visible improvements after the Nigerian striker scored the only goal as Il Partenopei defeated Torino at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Sunday evening.
The Nigerian forward does not score many goals with his head, but he rose the highest to nod home the winner with nine minutes left of regulation time in the matchday eight encounter.
The former Lille and Charleroi lad has already tagged the goal the most important of his career. And Spalletti confesses he can see Osimhen getting better in areas where he was once weak.
“He is a very strong player who is going through a good period of form,” the Napoli boss told DAZN as per TuttoNapoli after the encounter.
“But what is fundamental to see is that he is improving in things where he did not give importance before. He is becoming more complete; he is a very strong player.”
Milan great Ambrosini concurs that Osimhen’s physical attributes and incredible inner desire make him an exceptional striker.
In quotes relayed by TuttoNapoli, the former AC Milan skipper said of Napoli’s record signing: “He is unique in terms of characteristics; he has evident physical strength. He played all-field against Bremer; he has an incredible athletic freshness.
“Technically, in my opinion, he is not bad despite what is said. He knows how to do many things and all with great desire. He seems to me an ambitious boy.”
Despite starting the campaign with a red card against Venezia, Osimhen has mustered eight goals in his last seven matches for Napoli.
The 2015 U17 World Cup Golden Boot winner’s brilliant form has helped Napoli maintain a hundred per cent record after eight rounds in the Serie A.

Congratulations to Osimhen.
What is left now is for him to adopt the work ethics of Cristiano Ronaldo. He would become truly phenomenal.
Not Christiano, but Messi the world best.
