“He is very quick and strong’- Rrahmani on Osimhen

The Super Eagles star has been in incredible form this season, and his teammate has revealed what separates him from the rest

Napoli defender Amir Rrahmani has praised Victor Osimhen’s football qualities, admitting it’s difficult to stop the Nigerian.

Osimhen has started the season like a house on fire with eight goals in nine games for Napoli, including the lone goal in the win over Torino last Sunday.

The Nigerian international has been unplayable this campaign, and Rrahmani has revealed it is also like that in training.

“Sometimes I have trouble containing Victor Osimhen in practice”, the Kosovo defender told Napoli Magazine per The Cult of Calcio.

“He is very quick and strong. He is growing and understanding what his strengths are,” he added.

Osimhen will hope to continue his strong start to the season when Napoli take on Legia Warsaw in the Europa League on Thursday.

The former Lille star has scored three goals in Napoli’s two group games this season. However, with a huge clash against Roma coming up on Sunday, he is likely to be given a rest.

Luciano Spalletti’s men will be looking for their first win in the group, having drawn and lost their first two games against Leicester City and Spartak Moscow, respectively.
