Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye endured his second 4-0 loss of the season as Sparta Rotterdam fell at home to Cambuur in their Eredivisie matchup on Sunday.
Okoye conceded four goals when Utrecht thrashed Sparta back in the opening match of the campaign on August 15.
And he was on the receiving end of a similar scoreline as Cambuur ran riot at the Sparta-Stadion Het Kasteel in Rotterdam.
The Nigerian international was beaten by an Issa Kallon brace and further strikes from Alex Bangura and Tom Boere.
Okoye was shown a yellow card in the 88th minute moments before teammate Aaron Meijers was sent off by referee Martin Van den Kerkhof for unsportsmanlike conduct.
In France, Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie suffered the biggest defeat of the season as PSG Ladies hammered city rivals Paris FC 4-0 at the Stade Municipal Georges Lefèvre in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
Nnadozie had been in sparkling form all campaign, helping Paris FC keep two clean sheets in the three victories over Stade de Reims, Fleury, and Guingamp.
But Sandrine Soubeyrand’s Ladies met their waterloo against the champions, with a Katoto double, Diani’s effort, and Däbritz’s penalty condemning the visitors to a heavy defeat.
