Nigeria to play Cape Verde without fans

Cape Verde is one of the West African countries that has suffered the most from Covid-19 infections.

The World Cup qualifier match between Nigeria and Cape Verde will be played behind closed doors. This is in adherence to FIFA’s  Covid-19 protocols.

According to a report by Noticia do Norte, the Cape Verdean Football Federation FCF received a communication from CAF, stating that they would have to face the Super Eagles of Nigeria without fans in their second group stage game in the World Cup qualifiers.

Nigeria face Cape Verde on the 7th of September at the at the Adérito Sena Municipal Stadium, in Mindelo. The Super Eagles will hope to take advantage of the absence of fans at the stadium to grab their second win of the qualification series.

However, the Blue Sharks will see to it that they secure a result from the Super Eagles as they were held to a 1-1 draw in their first game against Central African Republic.

  • With or without fans this is a must win matchup, which no excuse will deemed untenable for losing.
Wishing the team the very best despite being depleted by the rules of the Uk government on Covid-19 protocol..
A good governance looks after not just its people but everyone living within its boundaries; so let everyone then play their part to achieving greatness- let it starts with the Super Eagles ..

  • Super Eagles coaching crew must put in thier mines and heart they must play a creativity match with depth and pressing and combative soul and physic; they have to press from the refree's whistle to the end of another whistle.Cape Verde is a dengerous team who can play with any giant team in Africa and can beat it; just like beating Cameroon last year ; Rhor must give defensive midfielders Bonke and Shehu or Kingsley Michael to press on the rival strongly and must not 7 to thier side, also he must give Onyekuru instructions to pass the ball quickly to the attackters through deep center, also give the wingers Simon Moses and Moffi or Samuel Kalu or Ahmed Musa to play high or ground crosses to Osimhen or Onauchu quickly in order to score head goals, also he must give them instructios to expliot set-pieces. The important thing it is to give center backs to control the rival's attacters tightly; must avoid set-pieces by rival who can do this job properly...
