LaLiga 2 side Almeria have officially unveiled their new kit for the upcoming 2021/2022 season, and their Nigerian star was part of the unveiling.
Almeria unveiled their new kit on Thursdays afternoon, and at the centre of it all was Nigerian top goal poacher Sadiq Umar, which was announced via the club’s Twitter handle.
Puma designed the jersey. The white top is bordered by a red shoulder line that extends down to the hands. It also has red claw-like strips at the front.
The club’s crest is firmly planted at the left chest area of the shirt. The short is crimson.
It is not a surprise that Almeria’s most prized asset, Sadiq, was one of the two players that modelled the new kit.
The swift-footed striker was the most important player in their fourth-place finish last season. The €5m arrival from Partizan had a dazzling season, scoring 20 goals. And according to transfermarkt, the explosive striker is now worth €15m.
Amidst all of the transfer speculations surrounding the former Roma man, the Rojiblancos will hope to keep their star man as they push for top-flight football.
